1877 Signed Limited Edition "New Biblia Pauperum" by John Wiclif
Item Details
A copy of New Biblia Pauperum by John Wiclif (John Wycliffe, mid 1320s—1384). This cloth bound book features two brass latches, pressed detail work on its covers, and includes thirty-eight woodblock engravings. This limited edition copy was printed in 1877 by Sign of The Grasshopper of London. The edition was limited to 257 copies and this one is numbered ‘230’ with a signature from the printer, Unwin Brothers in black ink.
