Fine Arts "Southern Colonial" Sterling Flatware Set with Chest, Mid-Century

An eighty-six piece set of sterling silver flatware in the Southern Colonial pattern by Fine Arts, first introduced in 1945. The flatware features gadrooning scroll motif handles with shell terminals, most of which are marked ‘Fine Arts Sterling – Southern Colonial’ to their undersides. These pieces are presented with a sterling handled carving set by Fritz Voos and a silver plate fork and spoon by Holmes & Edwards in a mahogany silverware chest with Pacific Silvercloth anti-tarnish lining. The sterling flatware and serving utensils, excluding the hollow handled pieces, have a total approximate weight of 76.454 ozt.
