A 1988 ink cartoon illustration prototype by Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist, Jim Borgman (born 1954), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for The Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. The image depicts a satirical illustration of a very large Defense Department employee emptying a cookie jar that represents a budget, wearing a “Defense Department” name tag. Artist signature and date is signed to the left. The piece is mounted with coordinating matting, behind glass in a black metal frame; equipped to hang.
