A Jean-Claude Novaro (French, 1943-2014) hand-blown art glass vase. The large vase features a triangular rim with rounded edges in yellow glass with thick tendrils curving down the sides of the tapering form among organic speckled patterns in red, dark blue, and green on white ground. The vase is marked ‘JClaude 2005’ to the underside. Novaro began studying glassmaking at 14 and founded his own studio in 1977.
