Vintage 1966 Gibson C-6 Classical Guitar

A 1966 Gibson C-6 classical guitar is a cherished acoustic instrument in history. The guitar is a Richard Pick six string guitar with a spruce front and a rosewood back, siding and framed sound hole. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fretboard and nylon strings. The headstock has pearl-like tuning keys, gold-plated hardware and the serial number 407092 pressed into the back. Three of the strings are metal and three are nylon. The interior of the sound hole has a Gibson Inc. label that states it’s the Classic Guitar Model C-6, the serial number 407092 and is approved by Richard Pick. The serial number and its location on the guitar date this guitar to 1966. The guitar also comes with its original Gibson case, several packaged nylon strings and a guitar clip. The Gibson C-6 classic guitar is a very collectible time piece.

Condition

The body of the Gibson C-6 is in excellent condition, but it does need to be restrung. One of the metal strings has snapped. Nylon strings are included with the guitar and case.
