An antique sterling silver pin cushion by Sampson Mordan & Co. of Chester, England. This piece features a cylindrical sterling design with a fluted rim, three fluted ball feet, and a burgundy colored fabric pin cushion. It is hallmarked near its rim and additionally marked with a sterling fineness mark, a Chester city mark, and a 1900 letter “R” date mark. The pin cushion has a total approximate weight of 1.105 ozt, inclusive of all materials.
