American Oak Rocking Chair, Early 20th Century

Item Details

A quartersawn oak rocking chair. The solid, oval back has a scroll and leaf design around a cutout at the top, echoed by another vine at the bottom, and by one on the curved seat apron. Outward flared armrests have carved paw ends and are supported on side spindles and a curved front stile. Its seat has been replaced with tan leather accented by tack trim.
