A hand-knotted Anatolian wool rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of red, peach, light blue, golden yellow, pink, gray, and black. The red hued field is populated with an over-sized medallion infilled with a central floral form, while enclosed by angular spandrels with a light blue and peach ground featuring floral motifs and curled leaves. Framing the field is a main rectilinear floral border over peach. Finishing this rug overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe with reinforced stitches. It is labeled ‘Made in Turkey’.
