Eastlake Burl and Walnut Secretary, 19th Century

Item Details

An Eastlake walnut secretary with burl veneer to the front. It has a decorative pediment over a ledge shelf with curved supports. The drop front opens to compartment storage and an inlaid workspace. The drawer, which also serves to support the writing surface, has carved fruit handles. It is raised on small wheels.
