Meriden Britannia Co. Sterling Silver Bouillon Cup Holders, Early 20th Century
Item Details
A set of five sterling silver bouillon cup holders by the Meriden Britannia Company of Meriden, Connecticut, whose mark was in use from 1895 through the 1930s. The cup holders feature pierced, round designs with two foliate motif handles and footed bases. They are hallmarked under their rims alongside ‘Sterling’ fineness marks and shape number ‘1043’. These pieces have a total approximate weight of 6.370 ozt.
