Dated 1861 in a reserve on the headboard, with a monogram, the sides and footboard painted with flowers and urns.

Condition

pieces of the border are coming off the footboard
significant paint chipping and scratching
one foot base is twisted and coming off
one foot base is missing
paper residue to interior of one side board
wood is worn throughout, especially around edges
some wood has chipped off
significant marks and scratches throughout
some dark scuffs to headboard
cracks to headboard and footboard
side board still has a gap, despite being latched into footboard
