An antique Seth Thomas French Empire style mantel clock. The case has an embossed bronze bracket base that supports a brass frame with beveled glass panels, and capped with a bronze bonnet with a flower filled urn finial. The white ceramic clock face displays black Arabic numbers, diamond shaped hands, a chapter ring, and two key arbors, housed in a brass bezel. It is marked ‘Seth Thomas’, and includes a mercury filled pendulum, and key. The verso is marked ‘ST U.S.A. 48 N’.
