An Ek Commando model 3 fixed blade knife. This fighting knife features a false top edged polished steel blade; brass guard and hand-etched walnut handle finished with poured lead rivets. It bears a maker’s mark to the ricasso and the location of Richmond, VA. Ek Commando Knife Company moved operations to Richmond, Virginia, in 1982, and through subsequent sales to other knife companies, continued to produce knives under the brand into the 1990s. It is stored in an olive drab nylon web sheath and presented with its original box and paperwork.
