A hand-knotted Indo-Caucasian Kazak rug. The wool rug features a gold medallion, two dark blue medallions, and two light blue medallions in a dark red rectangular central field populated with floral and geometric patterns. There are two sawtooth minor borders to either side of a white principal border displaying geometric patterns. Overall the rug utilizes a color palette of dark red, red, blue, light blue, orange, gold, grey, and white. This rug is finished with natural warp white cotton fringe, and it is unmarked.
