Vintage Rocking Horse with Horse Hair and Leather

Item Details

A vintage carved wooden rocking horse. This dapple grey horse features leather ears and horse hair forelock, mane and tail. It has red leather tack with a plaid fabric saddle blanket and fabric trim. It rests on a pair of red rails. There are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition

- large cracks noted throughout; worn leather with some brown leather embellishments cracked, broken and missing; oxidation to the metal ornaments and bit; worn leather on the ears.
