A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Zanjan rug. This wool rug features a red rectangular central field heavily populated with floral and foliate patterns. The border displays a floral and vine pattern against a white background. Overall, the rug utilizes a palette of red, pink, orange, blue, dark blue, light brown, black, and white. This rug has been finished with natural warp white cotton fringe, with an overcast edge to one side. The rug is unmarked.
