"Eames Molded Plywood Dining Chair" Bent Plywood Chairs, Mid-20th Century

Item Details

A pair of Molded Plywood Dining Chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Also known as the ‘potato chip chair,’ they have layered and bent plywood backs and seats with walnut veneer, both pieces curving inward. They are supported on black coated metal rod frames with gliders at the end of the splayed legs. The Herman Miller tags are on the underside of each.
This design was named Best Design of the 20th century by Time magazine in 2001.
