A copy of African Game Trails: An Account of the African Wanderings of an American Hunter-Naturalist by Theodore Roosevelt. The first-hand account of the Smithsonian-Roosevelt expedition chronicles game in Africa at the turn of the twentieth century was published in 1910 by Charles Scribner’s Sons of New York. The book contains more than two hundred illustrations from photographs and illustrations by Roosevelt’s traveling companions, including his son Kermit Roosevelt. The book is presented in a forest green cloth bound cover with gilt lettering to its front and spine.
