A boar hunt scene on the lid, with ‘Ye chase for pastyme & ye wine for hospitalitye’ along the top and bottom borders, while the four drawer fronts are carved with repeating designs of rosettes, palms, and scrolls.

Condition

- overall with various scratches, dents, marks, chips, cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; drawer bottoms beginning to form gaps between the planks; mildew in some of the drawers.

Dimensions

- measured with writing surface closed; when opened, it is 33.5" D.
