Vintage 835 Silver Five Strand Turquoise Trachten Choker

Item Details

A vintage, 835 silver Trachtenschmuck or Bavarian traditional necklace, features five cascading strands and a decorative repoussé clasp with turquoise stone embellishment. The piece is worn with the clasp to the front and is traditionally known as a kropfband, or choker. Typically worn with a dirndl dress, or similar traditional dress in parts of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
