Louis XV Fruitwood Armoire, Early 19th Century

Item Details

A Louis XV fruitwood armoire. Designed with rounded crown molding to top above center medallion with rectangle accents to either side. Double paneled doors to front with center brace and peg construction. Large forged hinges and door escutcheon with ornate skirting to bottom and seated on raised feet. Open doors to reveal paneled inside with two open shelves and two side by side drawers.

Condition

- to fair, light nicks and wear throughout and doors stay ajar. Top molding is offset and uncentered.
- Drawers and interior fittings possibly later
