Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in hues of red, green, orange, pink, lavender, blue, and ivory. It is centered with a diamond medallion infilled with geometric floral and foliate motifs and flanked by palmette pendants. The lozenge field is densely populated with racemes, oak leaves, lobed rosettes, and branching stems, and extends to lavender spandrels comprised of complementary designs.
