A hand-knotted Persian Bakhtiari wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, ivory, blue, pink, orange, yellow, and brown. The deep red hued field begins with a large-scale pendant medallion enclosed by navy grounded spandrels, while featuring bold floral, boteh, and leaf motifs throughout. Framing the field is an ivory grounded floral meander border with added roses, along with a pair of floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
