A vintage, hand-knotted Persian Qum long rug. This wool rug features a center lozenge and pictorial depictions of birds on a rectangular field with spandrels in a palette of red, black, blue, gold, green, violet, orange, and cream. The field is framed by a border with floral and Boteh designs, and the far ends have white cotton fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
