A finely hand-knotted Sino-Persian wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cream, pink, green, brown, burgundy, white, indigo, and beige. The cream hued field features an intricate floral design with scrolling vine-work, sprays, curled leaves, and palmettes throughout. Framing the field is a main floral meander border that breaks over guard strips. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine wool warp fringe with a kilim skirt to the ends. It is unlabeled.
