Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Caucasian Daghestan wool rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of beige, blue, pink, red, brown, golden tan-yellow, and green. The beige hued field features three lesghi star medallions each framed in a chained diamond band, while enclosed by a scatter of rosettes. Framing the field is a colorful main octagram-in-octagon border, along with a stylized floral meander guard border. Finishing this rug are the remains of overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
