A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Malayer runner. This wool rug features a navy blue central field with three medallions, spandrels to each corner, and heavily populated throughout with floral and foliate patterns. The rug has four borders in the order of a minor green and gold tone sawtooth border, a red and green S-form minor border, a white principle border displaying a Seraband pattern, and finally a red and blue S-form minor border. Overall, the rug utilizes a color palette of navy blue, blue, red, pink, green, gold, grey, black, and white. This rug has been finished with natural warp white cotton fringe, and it is unmarked.
