A hand-knotted, semi-antique Persian Mashhad room-sized rug. This rug features a central medallion in a palette of navy, goldenrod, and powder blue. The field has an arabesque pattern with boteh and lancet leaf motifs in a vibrant palette of crimson, navy, blue, pink and cream on a red field. It has a compound border and four spandrels to the corners in a coordinating color scheme. It has a natural warp fringe to either end and is unmarked.
