A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Zanjan rug. This wool rug features a red lozenge shaped central field with a four-pointed medallion, spandrels, and floral and vine patterns. There are two minor borders to either side of the principal border, and each of these borders also display floral and vine patterns. Overall, the rug utilizes a color palette of red, pink, blue, dark green, orange, light brown, grey, black, and white. This rug has been finished with natural warp white cotton fringe, and it is unmarked.
