Mid-Century Rosenthal "Plaza" Porcelain Dinnerware by Raymond Loewy

A sixty-five piece mid-century Rosenthal porcelain dinnerware set in the Plaza pattern. Offered are thirteen dinner plates, thirteen salad plates, twelve bread and butter plates, fifteen saucers and twelve cups. The pattern displays a light blue and grey design of a plaza outside of an arched and columned building with flowers pushing through the seams of the sidewalk. The pieces were designed by American industrial designer Raymond Loewy and bear the maker’s mark to the underside, placing production between 1961-64.
