An old hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bijar area rug. This rug features geometric medallions with a traditional Herati pattern in hues of indigo, pale pink, powder blue, peach, and burgundy. It has repeating floral figures to the guard borders with a Herati main border. The rug is finished in short ivory cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
