A sterling silver flatware set for twelve in the Richelieu pattern by the International Silver Company; designed by Alfred G. Kintz and produced between 1935 and 1996. The set includes twelve dinner forks, salad forks, teaspoons, place spoons, soup spoons, iced tea spoons, ice cream spoons, demitasse spoons, butter spreaders, and hollow handled dinner knives. These are presented with a cake and pie server, a large ladle, a small ladle, a tablespoon, a pierced tablespoon, a meat serving fork, a sugar spoon, a jelly server, a tomato server, and a cheese knife. Each piece features a scrolled acanthus and floral motif handle, which is hallmarked alongside a ‘Sterling’ fineness mark to its underside. These pieces, excluding the hollow handled utensils, have a total approximate weight of 152.596 ozt.
