A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Bakhtiari rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in hues of dark green, red, dark grey, cream, blue, taupe and dark blue.The field features a garden panel design, each block infilled with rectilinear floral and foliate motifs and separated by chains of geometric designs surrounded by a compound border. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and warp fringe.
