An antique Indian wood carving of a horse and rider, attributed as being carved in Tanjore in the 18th Century as part of a processional cart. The hand-carved fragment depicts two male figures on horseback with raised swords. The carving is unmarked.

Provenance
Purchased in 1981 from La Sirena in San Antonio, Texas.

- some chips/ missing elements and distressing throughout.
