A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz wool runner. This runner is rendered in a palette of brownish-orange, cream, pale green, light green, black, tan, and red. The burgundy colored field features four central medallions along with a foliate pattern throughout. Framing the field is a geometrically patterned samovar border and a sawtooth guard border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
