1919 National Model 717 Cash Register

Item Details

A 1919 National Cash Register Company model 717 register. This metal register features a matte dark finish and was referred to as a single counter candy store model register. It includes a glass display to the top and round buttons to the front. The curved front lifts up to reveal an interior counter and the piece includes a polished black stone top over the wooden cash drawer. The drawer is separated into various compartments. The piece retains a National Cash Register Co. paper label to the window and a brass model and serial number plate marked ‘1743613’ and ‘717’. The serial number dates the manufacture of this machine to 1919.
