A late 19th-century American landscape oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This work depicts a lush wooded area surrounding a small clearing and pond, where a boy fishes in the company of two cows and a herd of sheep. There is no signature on this piece. This painting is mounted in a moulded wood frame with a gilt finish.

- craquelure and accretion across painting. Canvas has been trimmed and mounted to thick paperboard.
