Item Details

A mid-20th century Federal style dining table/banquet table by Kindel Furniture with twelve upholstered dining chairs. The table features a mahogany finish with rounded ends. The table apron is accented with rosette blocks over carved tapered square legs with casters. The table includes five matching leaves with integral table aprons. There are also unfinished plywood ends with legs, designed to extend table to 20’0’. The chairs include ten side chairs and two armchairs in the original ribbed celery fabric with double welting. They include a square top rail with an open lower back, upholstered back and seat, and round turned legs with a rosette block detail. The table is marked with an impressed extension ‘Kindel Furniture Co.’ and ‘W’ below. The tag to underside of chair is marked ‘Michigan Chair Co., made for Kindel Furniture Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan.’ Please note, a protective rolled up felt table pad is also included for both 12’0’ and 20’0’ lengths.
