A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool long rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of red, orange, gray, ivory, blue, and brown. The red hued field features an allover design of memling guls enclosed in octagonal medallions, accompanied by small hexagonal forms, and filler motifs. Framing the field is a main gray grounded chained diamond and boteh border, along with a checkered minor border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
