A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool area rug. This fine knotted rug features a floral spray and blue bird design along the four edges, across an open field of gray with a purple cast. It includes a narrow solid border and a cream floral border. The rug features a palette of purple, gray, teal, plum, cream and soft rust/brown. It includes natural warp fringe and an overcast selvage edge. No manufacturer’s tag.
