Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bijar wool runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of forest green, scarlet, ivory, sky blue, and navy. The forest green colored field features an ornately designed palmette pattern with five medallions down the center. It has a compound border in a coordinating color scheme with stylized meander of palmettes and added blooms. Finishing this runner are overcast selvedges and two natural warp fringed ends.
