Antique Pine Stepback Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique pine stepback chest of drawers. The top rectangular surface features molded edges and rest on four hand-cut dovetailed drawers with porcelain pulls. The drawers are flaked by carved and fluted stiles. The chest terminates with a straight skirt and round feet in the front and bracket feet in the back. Keys are not included.

Condition

- surface scratches and scuffs present and heaviest along base; chest of drawers has been refinished with old finish and staining in crevices; bottom planks of top and bottom drawers are cracked; wood putty over wood knots on the interior of the drawers.
