A mid-20th century Campaign style chest of drawers by Cathay Arts Company, mid 20th century. This dark stained chest features a slightly raised top surface, with a cabinet frame accented with bullnose edge trim. The chest is configured with two drawers over two full width drawers, with pulls on brass tone rectangular plates and dovetail construction drawers. The recessed side panels feature additional pulls on a medallion like plate, with a full width base and curved Asian style feet. Marked to the reverse “Cathay Arts Co., Art Carved Furniture Manufacturers, 24 Cameron Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong, made in Hong Kong Cable “Kaarts.’ Please note, this item is located on a walk out lower level.
