Item Details

An antique French Provincial style comtoise clock with a repoussé brass face. The clock features a hand-painted white clock face with black Roman numerals and floral decoration, Gothic style metal hands, two key arbors, and is set in a brass repoussé frame with figural and floral decoration. The tapered case has a door to the top with a glass window and a separate lower door with a small round glass window to view the brass pendulum. It has brass workings to the interior and no visible maker’s marks.
