Hand-Knotted Afghani Turkmen "Khal Mohammadi" Wool Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Afghani Turkmen wool rug. This rug is rendered in a deep palette of red and blue, while featuring a Khal Mohammadi design of Ersari style guls, tree of life forms, and small florets to the field. Framing the field is a main diamond and cross border, as well as a meandering animal head guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe with a kilim skirt to the ends. It is unlabeled.
