Hand-Knotted Afghani Baluch "War" Wool Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Afghani Baluch wool rug. This rug is rendered in a deep palette of indigo, red, brown, and cream. The indigo hued field and main border features a pictorial war design depicting tanks, helicopters, and weaponry throughout. Thin strips of brown grounded stylized S and box patterns also help frame the field. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe with a kilim skirt to the ends. It is unlabeled.
