A hand-knotted Indo-Caucasian Kazak carpet runner. This wool pile rug is woven is hues of medium blue, deep red, golden yellow, pink, navy, light green, brown, and white. The elongated field features an allover lattice of diamond and ogee medallions, which alternate in size and colorway. Framing the field are thin, solid guard borders, while the primary border displays a florette and fleur-de-lis motif over white. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, a brief kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
