A hand-knotted Indo-Persian area rug. This wool rug features a crimson rectangular center field populated with floral and vine patterns in a palette of ginger orange, moss green, stone blue, crimson, black, and cream white. There is a compound border with a floral and foliate pattern in corresponding colors. The rug is finished with natural warp white cotton fringe, and it is unmarked.
