Hand-Knotted Persian Everu Wool Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Everu area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in hues of red, pink, tan, and blue with ivory accents throughout. It is centered with a diamond medallion infilled with rectilinear elements and flanked by diminutive pendants. The lozenge field features an allover lattice of stylized boteh and ivory spandrels, whose designs mirror the center medallion. Framing the field are floral meander guard borders, while the primary border displays a Seraband pattern over ivory. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
