A Louis XIII style carved wood armchair, early 20th century. This chair features a carved and shaped crest rail with scroll design over a leather upholstered back panel with brass nailhead trim. The chair includes a matching upholstered seat flanked by curved armrests with acanthus leaf carved detail. The chair rises on S-scroll shaped legs joined by an H-stretcher and terminating on claw feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
